Business Week helps students understand how businesses work while building leadership, teamwork, and communication skills. It’s a hands-on way to learn skills that are useful in any career and throughout life.

We are so excited to introduce our June Business Week Kickoff Ceremony Speaker, Pallavi Pande!
Pallavi is a Portland-based founder, mompreneur, and Owner of , a company rooted in sustainability, community, and usability.
Dtocs creates compostable tableware from naturally shed palm leaves and bamboo fiber, supporting a majority female workforce while contributing to education in underserved communities. After 5 years of hands-on expertise and experience, Pallavi started Dtocs Consulting with an Amazon seller operator mindset to help other product-based founders grow on Amazon.
We can’t wait for our June Business Week students to hear her story, learn about her journey, and be inspired by the impact she’s creating.

Meet Alex Arreguin!
Raised in Woodburn, Oregon, Alex graduated from Oregon State University with a B.S. in Computer Science and a minor in Business Entrepreneurship
He is currently a Cloud Architect at Campbell Global, a JPMorgan Chase company, where he focuses on building and improving cloud infrastructure to support applications, data, and security
This is Alex’s third year volunteering with OBA, and he has loved being part of the experience. Fun fact, he is also a 2x OBA Basketball Champion.
We’re excited to have Alex back supporting students this summer as a Company Advisor.

Axel Mortenson is joining us as our Lead Operations Intern for 2026 Business Week! With a background in robotics, manufacturing, and choral performing, Axel brings a unique mix of technical skills and creativity to the OBA team.
He’s excited to support student learning and growth by helping ensure every detail of Business Week runs smoothly, creating a seamless and impactful experience for all participants.

We’re excited to have Mike Cebula joining us as a Company Advisor this summer!
Mike has spent his career in banking and technology, helping organizations develop new services, solve complex challenges, and strengthen relationships with their customers.
For the past 10 years, he has volunteered with SCORE, supporting small business owners, and currently serves on several boards in Clackamas County.
Mike is passionate about mentoring, community involvement, and supporting the growth of future leaders. He is a graduate of the University of Portland!
