The Report Card Team was represented well at the Oregon Infrastructure Summit today, with our own Ana Tijerina Esquino as a Keynote Speaker for the event. Thank you to everyone who engaged with us at our table and thank you to Business Oregon and Northwest Environmental Council for having us!

Join us for the release of Oregon's 2024 Infrastructure Report Card on August 6th at the Oregon State Capitol! A tour of the State Capitol seismic retrofit project precedes the event, going from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. This tour starts at the Hoffman Construction office located next to the Capitol building and near the intersection of State St and Winter St SE. Please wear boots (steel toe not required) and long pants for this tour. Hard hats will be provided, or you may bring your own hard hat if it includes a chin strap.

ASCE Portland YMF Career Kickoff event at Colwood Golf Center is this Saturday. This event is focused on “kicking off” the careers of recent civil engineering grads and young professionals by connecting them with civil engineering professionals in the Pacific Northwest. The event will begin with a footgolf tournament at 3pm, followed by a delicious taco bar buffet at 5pm, and an electric speaker series at 5:40pm. We’ll have the wonderful Jamestaun Kraupp, Senior Engineer at Kittleson and next year’s ASCE Region 8 Governor, as our keynote speaker. We will be hosting a panel of civil engineers to share advice with our students and new professionals. Sponsoring companies will have several opportunities to advertise and recruit throughout the event. Footgolf trophies and raffle winners will be awarded at the end!
