The good news is that my pump still works and plumbing is going, like, suspiciously smoothly. The bad news is that my irrational fear of electricity continues to make connecting the battery harrowing.

Sink installation time! Shame I didnt have enough silicon to seal *both* faucets, but what can you do?

What do you call an amphibian that helps support wheels? An axle-lotl🦎

Construction continues! Mild improvisation due to my *flagrant* inability to do basic math, but we're making steps in the right direction! Each next step- attaching the axles, installing the sinks, plumbing the lines, and adding gas and power- is increasingly complicated compared to the one before it, but we're definitely moving.

Painting Day 1- the frame! Also, turned out that the handsaw was a better tool for widening the sink dropout than the electric jigsaw, so the teacart has been blessed by the spirit of John Henry the Steel-driving Man

We've been hard at work sawing, drilling, and sanding the parts for Mobile Teahouse 2.0, even though tea dragons (say hi, Ouros!) have a justified fear of power tools

Wheel, would you look at that. Wheels are in motion. Feelin' pretty wheel to do. Etc, etc.

Casually ignoring the almost-year gap since last posting, here's a preview of an in process logo redesign, complete with mews/begrudging pose reference! I impulse bought about $100 worth of lumber today so, hopefully, there are wheels in motion!

Is this... an update? A tea-cart that exists in actual, corporeal space, instead of as a pile of disparate parts and a glimmer in a young barista's eye? Lo, it is!
Well, it is still slightly a pile of disparate parts as the plumbing isn't actually connected, the sink does still need to be fully attached, and the perceptive amongst you may note that the umbrella is just wedged under the top of the porch, but hey! I've got baskets!
Tea deities (teaties? deiteas?) willing, the last major hurdle before us will be code approval. We're certainly closer than we've ever been. This is entirely due to the support and encouragement of loved ones who have patiently sat through endless variations of "So I think if I do it this way..."
Watch this space. We hope to see you soon.

Update: Construction has begun! All the bits, bobs, and etcetera have been cut out, and now need to be sanded and assembled. Stay tuned!
