Use Visual Schedules!

Visual schedules help children feel secure by communicating the upcoming events in a day or week. They are a great way to provide a sense of structure and predictability, and a concrete way to process time and expectations. Give it a try!

We are excited to share that we are now offering Parent-Child Interaction Therapy at Sunbreak! Sessions will be led by Dr Daryl Hitchcock, who is a licensed psychologist, Registered Play Therapist & Supervisor, and Infant Mental Health Clinical Mentor.

PCIT is an evidence-based therapy where caregivers and children attend sessions together. It focuses first on strengthening the parent-child relationship, then moves into live coaching to help caregivers build effective behavior management skills and improve cooperation at home.

If your child's behavior is causing stress at home, preschool, daycare, or in public settings, PCIT may be right for you! Give us a call for more information and to make an appointment

Sunbreak Therapy Services is excited to introduce our Kindergarten Readiness Camp. This camp is designed to help young children build the foundational skills they need for a confident start to school. Led by a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist/Reading Specialist and Occupational Therapist, this camp blends play-based learning with expert guidance to support the whole child

Each day is thoughtfully structured to mirror a kindergarten classroom experience, helping children become comfortable with transitions, group participation, and early academic concepts in a nurturing, low-pressure environment.

This camp is ideal for children preparing to enter kindergarten who may benefit from extra support, confidence-building, or simply a gentle introduction to the school setting. Out goal is to empower every child with the skills and self-assurance they need to thrive on their first day and beyond

Participants must be children ages 4-6 who are entering kindergarten in fall 2026. Children must be potty trained and able to be safe in a small group. Spots are limited, give us a call and reserve your child’s place today!
