My first time shooting a wedding in Chicago! What a blast. This little family is the sweetest and funniest and most chill to work with - combine it with their close bond with their coworkers at and the wonderful event planning staff there and it was really a dream job. Reminder to self to go for impulsive walks with the camera more often. The rain broke over Mount Tabor and we got some amazing light right at the end of the day. Touching grass is not just for the summertime.

Shelby wanted her car and a body of water in her senior portraits, but when the first location I suggested turned out to be private property since the last time I'd been there, we had to improvise. I forget the name of this little pull off between Government Cove and Cascade Locks, but it couldn't have worked out better. Shelby was awesome to work with over the 2 hours we shot and these are some of my favorite senior photos I've taken in a while!

Colin & Taryn got married on the family farm, decorated and bedecked over the course of a whole year by Taryn's parents. There were flowers everywhere, a canoe full of alcohol, fireworks, a scene from the Princess Bride acted out flawlessly, and a lot of homegrown sweetness in general. Also, the first time a bride has used her First Look to prank the groom. Make sure to swipe to the end for something I've never seen before.

Alexis & Angie came to Oregon for the weekend to celebrate their marriage on the coast, and I was excited to share one of my favorite places with them - Cape Kiwanda. Not only did these two dress to kill, but they handled the oceanic fall temperatures and freezing water like champions. I'm so grateful I got to document such a sweet moment and make some of my favorite photos of the season! 🌈
