Once again, we've been blessed to have Dr. Dwain Tissell take us on a journey through a part of C.S. Lewis' life! In this new course, Dr. Tissell explores each book of the Chronicles of Narnia and helps us discover how they carry God's deep truth. He also addresses ways to talk to children about the stories as you read them together!

We're excited to launch our new CLD course, "OT Overview: Introduction to the Prophets." In this course, we will take a look at these prophets: who they were, where they lived, and why we ought to learn about their lives and their messages to ancient Israel. Guiding you through this discussion will be Dr. Jan Verbruggen, Professor of Old Testament Language and Literature and Center Chair of Biblical and Theological Studies at Western Seminary in Portland, OR.

What does the Bible say about leadership?

Leadership is a term that includes many different perspectives and expectations. In fact, there are literally hundreds of definitions of the word. We hear leaders are necessary, even in our Churches and Christian organizations, and yet we occasionally see examples of leaders that don’t seem to match the expectations we see throughout the Bible. So, what are God’s expectations of leaders? Does God have a plan to form leaders and use them to accomplish His purposes for humanity?

We get to serve such an amazing and awesome God! Often times, He is working behind the scenes in our lives and ministries, and sometimes, we are blessed to get a glimpse into what He is doing around us!

One way I've seen Him moving personally has been in the lives of the students I get to work with at my church. I've recently seen a group of them go from never having served before, to jumping into Kingdom work! It's been a huge blessing to see how they are growing in their faith and wanting to jump into serving!

How is God moving in your ministry, life, and church?

Is your character good or bad? How do you know?

This brand new class from Dr. Reid Kisling addresses the concept of character through the lens of the Bible and covers what it is and how it affects us. We cover aspects of God’s character as the model for what our character should be and how God uses our circumstances to shape our character to be more like His. Finally, we cover the goal of character change, particularly as the people of God, and how we are designed to foster character growth and transformation in gospel-centered relationships.

We're so excited to share this new course on the book of Habakkuk from Dr. Taylor Turkington!

Link: https://loom.ly/85j4xTk

Description: The book of Habakkuk can be one of the easily neglected books at the end of the Old Testament. Yet, the message of Habakkuk is still what we need, just as we need each of the other books of the Bible. Habakkuk brings us face to face with injustice, doubt, woe, and attempted hope. In his short book, the prophet leads us to understand lament, judgment, and faith. In this new course, Dr. Turkington takes us on a 6 session journey through the book of Habakkuk!
