If anyone is interested in a small business space for rent, Macs SnackShack is vacating our current location at 2240 NE Sandy Blvd. The owner of the building is supportive and open to consider almost any reasonable business ideas for the space. Rent is $800 a month electricity included. No direct water into the space, I bought a portable sink and was able to use fresh water from the attached business for no additional charge. Lots of foot traffic, parking, easy walk up window.

Hi, if you don’t know me personally I’m Angela the owner and operator of Macs snack shack. The story of how Mac’s came to be is simple. For some years now I had been pondering the idea of opening a food truck. I wanted to serve hearty comfort food and bbq like the delicious foods that brought all of my family together for holidays and special events for so many years, but that’s a huge commitment and honestly I had never worked in the food industry. By happenstance spring of 2023 an amazing opportunity to lease this tiny walk up window fell into my lap, it was such a great deal that I jumped on it without even being sure how I would utilize the space as it’s not equipped to serve a full service menu. I had already owned an ice shaver, but I knew that wasn’t enough to sustain business throughout Portland’s cold and rainy season. I reached out to close friends and family for advice and suggestions and pretty quickly Macs evolved into the snack shack.

I still have hopes of one day expanding and adding a full service menu to Macs, but for now I’m perfectly happy right where I am serving up tasty treats. 🍧🍦🍕🌭🥪🥤

I am eternally grateful for every last person that supports Macs SnackShack, whether it was in the early stages giving me advice, helping me paint and clean for my opening, faithfully liking and sharing my posts, showing up to my events or spending your money at Macs, all of you are a appreciated.
