A lot of times when we use words like “propaganda” or “systemic oppression” ppl act like it’s not that serious. ⁣ ⁣ When we point out that the American government and elected officials have looted more people and burned down more businesses than frustrated minorities ever have… folks roll their eyes. ⁣ ⁣ And when I talk about the “historical inaccuracy” of telling Black people they’d get further if they were more polite.. a few of ya’ll act like I’m being radical. ⁣ ⁣ Which is hilarious because honestly, there’s nothing radical about studying history and noticing how the same patterns and tactics keep re-emerging.
