I was rich with bikes in 2016. I worked in the bike industry, racing XC, bikepacking, mountain biking, riding centuries on my road bike, commuting rain or shine. My 30s were about riding, traveling to ride, and racing. Not much has changed, aside from the racing.
I owned all of these beauties minus the BMC Teammachine, which was a demo for a ride I was leading. #2016

This moment deserves its own post, it was one of my biggest highlights of 2025.
A photoshoot for the Checkpoint+ carbon e-gravel bike.
Five days on set with an amazing, fun, and highly professional crew. I’ve done many shoots, but this one truly stands out as a favorite. Riding through La Crosse, WI and Winona, MN on buttery-smooth gravel surrounded by stunning scenery was unforgettable. I had so much fun and couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.
