After 5 whole years of growth, amazing connections, and sharing my POV with all of you, I have decided to move into a new chapter 💞 Long story short, I got an amazing job last year which I love and will be stepping into that full time for my next season of life.

I so appreciate every single one of my clients who trusted me with the most important moments of their lives. I also appreciate all of you who were cheering me on through all the ups and downs of this journey!

I love this set of photos for so many reasons!

First off, Cassidy and Seth met at church and kept faith based elements in their wedding. They even had a homemade wooden cross as a backdrop for their ceremony site!

Secondly, I LOVED using this 28mm lens that recommended at the MPPA convention the week before. It really had a cinematic, storytelling feel.

It turned out to be a great set of photos!

Olivia’s getting ready photos 🥹

This was a really cute moment for her and her mom.

I always recommend not worrying if you don’t have a “perfect” getting ready space. These were taken in her grandmother’s upstairs bedroom. The getting ready photos are more about the memories and less about the aesthetic.

I know that they will hold this moment close to their hearts for a very long time!

I’m also currently getting these photos ready to send off for some potential publication🤞🏼 wish us luck!

I love how much these photos look like film! 🎞️

I know that the feeling of authenticity is super important to my clients. And there’s nothing more raw feeling than film photography. I also, personally, love the soft romance of film.

However, I didn’t actually shoot these on film! I shoot all my weddings on my digital camera to ensure the photos come out perfectly, then I edit them to look and feel like film.

It preserves the flexibility of digital, and the romance of film. Best of both worlds if you ask me 💕
