These were all really challenging to fit into 1.5" x 2.25" space and I had to call on mediums I haven't touched in ages. I feel MEH about a lot of them, but some of them I love a lot. I think Senshi takes the cake for me. What about you? Which one is your favorite?

Just a lil digital painting I did of
Tuna has brought me a lot of smiles in times where I really felt like I had nothing to smile about. From his Spicy Tuna moment with Jeff Goldblum to reels of him trying to p**p on the stairs at the water park, this boy is just a barrel of laughs. I love him dearly and would like if his momma gave him a kiss on my behalf.

I've been wanting to paint this lil guy for a while and I decided to do it when I was ready to try out some new watercolor brushes I got from . Everything but the small amount of bokeh lights and the little stars in Tuna's eyes was done with brushes from their "Watercolor Experience" brushes pack. I'm very satisfied with them!

All drawings are 1.5" x 2.25". That has been a fun challenge in and of itself. I think the Coraline drawing is my favorite so far!

Rough weekend, so here's my catch up post for days 4, 5, and 6 for ! "Quilt", "Apple", and "Potion"! I'm trying to make myself see something through when I'm not financially or contractually obligated to it. Lol

Artober Day 2! "Burlesque" 👠

I'm participating in for the first time! I decided to make it easy to keep up with by putting all 31 sketches on a single 9 x 12 page. Each drawing is 2.25" x 1.5". I'm doing a special Artober with prompts from 🌈 So here's day 1! All prompts are on slide 3 if you want to participate!

Guess where I got to go the other day! I and the other artists for were invited to tour ! Going to the studio, seeing the behind the scenes, and having a chance to learn about their process was one of the most exciting moments of my life. I love seeing what artists can do when they work together and Laika seems to be particularly dedicated to the work of artists. It feels like an enby like me can only dream of things like this, but seeing this level of work only steels my resolve to deepen my artistic growth.

Just a couple of Calcifer illustrations this weekend. I wanted to try my hand at a more painterly Ghibli style illustration. I’m always inspired by their scenery and environments. And then there’s illustration #2. I clearly can’t be tamed into a style. No regrets.
