Each summer, LEAP programs bring young people and communities navigating adversity onto the river for days of connection, challenge, and time in nature.

Those moments don’t end when the program does. They stay. The Variety Show is how our community helps make those experiences possible.

Join us for an evening of brave performances, shared laughter, dinner, and community as we celebrate the people who make LEAP possible.

In 2025, LEAP partnered with 10 nonprofits to deliver immersive, no-fee river programs across Oregon and Idaho; engaging 114 participants and partner staff over 49 full program days for a total of 584 unique participant days.

What makes LEAP different is time. Days, not hours. Shared challenge, not quick exposure. The result? Stronger resilience, deeper connection, and lasting impact.

Debbie Dream Boat, our 20 foot gear raft! She ferries our food and equipment faithfully down the river, week after week. We couldn't do it without her.

On the river, we see it again and again, people letting go of something heavy and finding room for something new.
