USCIS released a proposed rule that, if implemented, will increase certain immigration application fees. Contrary to USCIS claims, the increases are far beyond reasonably necessary for USCIS to maintain efficient processing. Submit a comment by March 13 to express your opposition to these increases.

The Working for Immigrant Safety and Empowerment (WISE) Act is a comprehensive bill, recently introduced by , that extends critical immigration benefits to immigrant survivors of violence. The aims to safeguard and improve existing protections for immigrant survivors in order to help them achieve safety and justice.
Among other advances, the WISE Act reduces the multi-year backlog by lifting the U Visa cap making the program more accessible, prevents detention and deportation of with pending immigration cases and allows them to access critical federal public benefits, speeds up work authorization to help survivors escape violence, and limits immigration enforcement at protected areas.
