Come see me! March 14th from 10-5 . Buckman Elementary is an art school in Portland. It’s an amazing event with a long history of supporting art education and local artists. I am proud to be participating for a second time.

These sweet babies will be with me this Saturday, March 8th, from 10-5! There are soooo many amazing artists. So. Many. Come out to support an awesome school and score some beautiful art.

The BASAS is coming up! Next Saturday, March 8th, from 10-5 at Buckman Elementary. There will be over 100 artists, food carts, and me!

I am SO proud and excited to be an artist at this year’s Buckman’s Art Show & Sell. Since 1990, Buckman Elementary, has held BASAS as a fundraiser for the school. The event supports the school, features art, and supports artists💞The arts focused school is the only elementary option in the PPS school system. Fundraising for schools holds a special place in my heart and being able to take part in this event means a lot.

I’m a little nervous but working hard and planning lots. Focus is on these mini column fringes atm. The beads are tiny and so are the earrings(compared to some of the others I make because I for sure love making the big ones). They’ll be with me at BASAS along with hoops, neons, gemstone beads, maybe some mini 🌈 flags. I will have a chonk with me❤️

This earring is literally one of the most favorite things I’ve ever made. Classic rainbow color run gets me every time. When I was a kid living in Northampton, MA in the late 70s, the best store in town, besides Bart’s Ice Cream, was Ruby’s Heart. Rolls of stickers, rainbows and hearts everywhere. 6 year old me would really like these earrings and 💯 rock them with her rainbow suspenders.

Funny thing about this earring is I noticed two spots I missed a bead just as I was prepping to start the second one. Normally, I’d dismantle the whole thing and start over again. Then, I started thinking that maybe if this pattern/earring is one of the most favorite things I’ve ever made, I should keep it the way it is. Undecided but either way this little one(did you notice how tiny the beads are? Got me💞) is awesome.

Rainbow on the mat tonight. In less than five days, I saw three rainbows. They were cute little shorties that just showed up in front of me. Happy to continue the vibe Mother Nature kicked off❤️🧡💛💚🩵💙💜 in neon.
