...and that's a wrap! Spring cheese? Yes, please! Even April snow couldn't keep month's orders from going out on time!

Food Field Trip monthly menus each month offer a domestic or imported artisan cheese to stand shoulder to shoulder (rind to rind?) with two PNW heavy hitters, to give you the ultimate cheese selection. Did I mention there's salami too?

🎁 especially if you get it for yourself. Don't be shy hit that link in my bio... The next menu is no joke!

Two more Food Field Trip basics...

1. Feed all of your senses
as you create your own adventure

2. Stay hydrated.
And when in Troncones, en El Estado de Guerrero (The Warrior State) you will find this man preparing the freshest, coldest coconuts to drink as you take respite in a bit of shade. His favorite (and mine) are the youngest with a sweeter water and softer flesh).

After your straw can slurp no more, he will split them open for you. And with a spoon fashioned from the shell so you may feast on the young "meat".

Food Field Trip basics. Start with a solid foundation. Whether it is a proper breakfast to provide nourishment for the day or the values you carry with you on your journey. And here the cornerstone is a true classic. The tortlla.

Our new partner, Food Field Trip , has something delicious to go on your Thanksgiving table: Pacific Northwest cheese. Food Field Trip assembles a monthly PNW Artisan Cheese Collection, filled with products from regional, small-production, generational farmstead creameries. We recommended ordering a one-time collection for Thanksgiving, then ordering a monthly gift subscription for a loved one or business client (or yourself 😋) by November 25, the cutoff for December shipments. I couldn’t help it

You know Food Field Trip is all about PNW artisan cheese, but along with an amazing local selection, I brought in a beautiful Italian cheese. Because, who isn’t ready for a vacation?!

Ubriaco Pinot Rose / Italy / cow's milk

Soaked in organic La Jara Pinot Grigio rosé, a dry, elegant sparkling wine. This semi firm cheese has a light fruity aroma. It retains the flavors of the wine. The blush colored rind is topped with dried rose petals. I mean we are the Rose City, right?!!
Try it with some rose or light wine! it's *almost* too pretty to eat.
And a new local selection

Face 2 Face Clothbound Cheddar
Face Rock Creamery / Oregon / sheep and cow’s milk

Very sharp, complex flavors of aging and mixed milk. A rare treat and some of Oregon’s only clothbound cheddar and sheep’s milk cheese. Pairs well with bold reds, oaked Chardonay / IPA, Amber Ales and Stouts

May is flying by. I am full of hope this Spring, but low on cheese! With so many new monthly subscription customers, there is only a limited amount of the highly coveted Cascadia Creamery collection left to sell before the menu changes next month (in 2 weeks!!!)

Local, organic, raw, grass fed, aged in a lava tube! Cascadia Creamery's Glacier Blue is epic and on the menu this month along with a few others. You want it. Super buttery and all the flavor you can handle!

I deliver/ship collections of 3-4 artisan cheeses (and accompaniments) every week. Yes, you can get a monthly subscription too!
