URGENT ACTION NEEDED by Monday, May 18.
The Mayor's proposed budget would cut the Diversity and Civic Leadership (DCL) Program, again. This funding keeps NAYA's LEAD Program and Youth and Elders Council alive.
We need you to speak up TODAY.
Here is how:
✔️ Submit written testimony
✔️ Email your Portland City Councilor
✔️ Call your district office
Click the link for all the details: https://conta.cc/3RLt2qy
Short messages count. Tell them: "Please support the Avalos-5 amendment to restore DCL Program funding."
At a time when Native communities and communities of color are under attack, Portland must invest in us, not cut us. Stand with NAYA. Protect our programs. Make your voice heard by end of day Monday.

Metro isn't just a regional government. It controls land, housing, transportation and the kind of future our kids are going to inherit.
NAYA Action Fund is proud to endorse Juan Carlos Gonzalez for Metro Council President because we need someone in that seat who shows up for ALL of us, not just the people who've always had a seat at the table.
Juan Carlos is that leader. Let's make sure he wins.
Follow for updates, actions, and everything you need to help get him elected.
