THERE’S NO ROOM FOR JEALOUSY IN MY CIRCLE. WE DON’T LOOK DOWN ON EACH OTHER. WE LOOK OUT FOR EACH OTHER.

The Circle of Honor
In the old ways, the circle is sacred.
It has no beginning, and it has no end.
Inside this circle, there is no place for envy, no room for pride.
Each heart beats as one, each spirit stands tall beside the other.
In my circle, we walk together — warrior and brother, sister and elder, human and horse.
We do not gaze down upon the ones beside us.
For we know: when one stumbles, the whole circle feels the tremor.
And when one rises, the circle rises with them.
Jealousy weakens the spirit.
Kindness strengthens the bond.
Where envy would sow division, we plant seeds of respect.
Where pride would build walls, we open our arms.
The eagle soars not because it flies alone, but because the winds beneath its wings are faithful.
The wolf survives not because it hunts alone, but because the pack moves as one.
So it is with us.
We look out for each other.
We lift each other.
We guard each other’s backs beneath the great sky.
In my circle, each life matters.
Each voice is heard.
Each soul is honored.
This is how it was.
This is how it must remain.
For only a true circle can stand strong when the winds of the world blow cold.
