I’ve been quietly working on a series of six watercolor paintings inspired by Smith Rock State Park—its light, its forms, and the way it always pulls me in.
Here are the first three.
I’m hoping to turn these into cards and prints, soon to be available at the Dry Canyon Arts store in downtown Redmond, Oregon.

Quick stop in Yelm and the studio. Reloading to head back out tomorrow. FL bound for quick trip. Taking airplane sketching supplies and my travel watercolors. Looking forward to when I can spend a whole week back here.

I love this cat. So very interactive and fun. Always getting into my brushes and eraser and scattering them about. Didn’t get a chance to paint her last year. Glad to be invited back to pet sit again.
