Bella Organic is a Certified Organic Farm & winery on 100 acres of organic ground located on the beautiful Sauvie Island in the city of Portland. Bella Organic’s goal is to promote responsible, Organic, and sustainable farming practices. We have been farming since 2006 and farm 200 acres of over 100 varieties of fruits, herbs, vegetables and pumpkins.We grow a large variety of organic products for

🍓 ORGANIC STRAWBERRY U-PICK BEGINS SATURDAY, JUNE 6TH! 🍓
Our Organic Strawberry U-Pick officially opens Saturday, June 6th and fields will be open Wednesday–Sunday throughout strawberry season. As additional U-Pick crops begin producing, hours and availability will expand throughout the season. We’ll continue posting crop updates and field conditions as the season progresses. A quick strawberry season update: unfortunately we had some crop damage this year due to deer helping themselves to our strawberry plants 🦌 so some fields may produce lighter than normal. We’re working hard to make the best of it and appreciate everyone’s understanding as the season unfolds.
🌞 SUMMER SEASON KICKS OFF JUNE 1! 🌞
Starting Monday, June 1st, our farm officially opens for the full summer season and will be open daily from 9 AM–5 PM through October 31st (hours may adjust seasonally, so be sure to check our website for updates).
Good news—we’ll still have already-picked berries available in our store daily! They do sell out, so we are keeping a few select fields reserved for our staff to harvest specifically for the store so you can continue finding fresh already-picked berries available daily.
📞 Want already-picked berries? Starting June 1st, call our store at 503-621-9545 to reserve a berry flat (or multiple flats) ahead of time for pickup. Since pre-picked berries often sell out, calling ahead is encouraged!
🍔 Food & drinks:
• Full food menu: Friday–Sunday
• Limited menu: Monday–Thursday inside the store
• Flights, tastings, and glass pours available daily

Our farm store is fully stocked with fresh produce, gifts, pickled goods, dried products, wines, and more made right here on the farm.

What it means to be a farmer isn’t just early mornings and pretty sunsets-it’s long days, hard work, and a whole lot of blood, sweat, and tears. It’s stress, uncertainty, and moments where you wonder if you can keep going... and then you do anyway.
Farming teaches you to live in rhythm with the world around you. You watch the skies, the wind, the soil. You notice the subtle shifts in seasons, the phases of the moon, the way the leaves turn, and how each day carries its own message. You realize that if you’re not paying attention to nature, you’re out of touch with everything that matters. And in that awareness, there’s something truly magical.
But behind that magic is constant risk. Every season, we plant with hope-but until we see the fruit of that seed, there’s always worry. Will the crops make it? Will the weather cooperate? Will the sun be too strong, or the rain come at the worst possible time? Will people show up?
For family farms like ours, agritourism isn’t just something extra-it’s what makes it all possible. We’re not large-scale operations with endless resources. We’re families who have invested hundreds of thousands of dollars, taken on loans, and poured everything we have into this land before ever making a single dollar back. For those who may never have been in our shoes, we understand and forgive you for what you do not know.
So when people support our farm—when you come out, pick fruit, bring your families, and show up for our events-you’re doing so much more than just visiting. You’re helping keep farmland alive. You’re helping small farms survive.
Without agritourism, many family farms simply wouldn’t make it.
We love what we do. We love this land. And we are so deeply grateful for every single one of you who chooses to support us and be part of this journey.

This year we wanted to make the egg hunts and activities ALL INCLUSIVE!
This makes more fun for everyone and more streamlined for participants to understand what is included with admission!
NOW, EVERY egg hunt admission includes 1 admission to the egg hunt timeslot that you reserve online, one raffle ticket (good for all raffles the day of your egg hunt), a petting zoo aamıssion one easter bunny meet At greet, one easter bunny ears and one easter basket of your choice, admission to the hay maze, and unlimited rides on the cow train, grain train and double cow train for the day.
**For the Adult Egg Hunt: Adults 21+ can choose from the adult option for their egg hunt and opt for an alcoholic beverage in place of additional activities.*
13+ allowed to do the adult egg hunt!

We will be closed for a few months to work on projects and have family time for the holidays! You can still order our products on our online store at www.bellaorganic.com and we will ship it to you!

With a lot of people in our community losing SNAP benefits we will be offering 10 free winter squash or pumpkins per family (or a mix of pumpkins or squash) starting Nov 1-Nov 7 during our business hours of 10am to 4pm those days. Please stop by the farm store and let our staff know and we will help you out.
If all of us help out where we can, it makes a big impact. Thank you to all the businesses and volunteers and people in our community for helping step up. For a list of more places to get free food during this time of you can go to to the website link below.
