Did you know that resin comes in liquid form, and you have to mix it with a separate hardener? Epoxy resin is a bit finnicky in that you MUST pour equal parts resin & hardener, and you MUST mix for a full 3-4 minutes, ensuring to scrape the sides and bottom. If not, it will not cure properly & you can end up with sticky parts in your final creations.π½

β Pouring the wax too hot! Which can lead to sink holes and bumpy-looking candles. Temperature is very important in candle-making. You'll want to pay close attention to
1.) the temperature at which you heat the wax to,
2.) the temperature at which you add fragrance, and

AND, it depends on the type of wax you're using. For the organic soy wax in our kits, we've found that pouring at a lower temperature helps you obtain the beautiful, smooth surface of your candles.
