Medium format image shot last year on Ilford FP4+ with the RB67 but recently edited and printed. Shot on Cliff Island I was drawn to this dory blending into it’s island resting place covered in old nets and toggles.

Yet another image with the Holga 120N taken at the Cypress Swamp in Calvert county MD. I have printed this and like it quite a bit. You definitely don’t always know how these Holga images (or any film image for that matter) are going to come out but there was an interesting vibe going on with the light playing in the swamp and I was anxious to see what I captured.

Another image from the plastic fantastic Holga 120N. The key to creating images with this camera is to embrace it's limited capabilities and build them in compositionally to advantage.

This is a recent pin hole image I took in a waterfront alley in Portland,ME. There is no lens, just a tiny hole (f138), no viewfinder- you point it at your composition. Exposure is calculated from your film speed, the available light and using the”shutter” which is a piece of wood you slide back and forth across the hole.

OOB #2- Another 6X6 shot (more or less) from this winter at Old Orchard Beach shot on Portra 160 with my trusty Rolleicord Vb.

A shot from Long Wharf with Pentax 35mm; Ilford XP2. Though I admit to having a film camera problem I do strive to shoot them all- just not at once.

Two versions of this image which started out as an infrared monochrome: On the left is a hand colorized with watercolor image and on the right colorized with PS Neural filters. I found some of the results using the PS filters "fun" and may play with them more but I think the watercolor version was more intentional and elegant IMHO.

A shot from Old Orchard Beach this past winter with my Rolleicord on Kodak Ektachrome 100. Me loves composing 6X6😊

Though I have been doing a deep dive into film of late, this is a recent edit of a digital image captured on a foggy afternoon in Penobscot Bay this past summer.

Just scanned and edited my first couple of rolls of film shot with my Da Yi 6X12 film camera. This was shot on Ilford FP4 120film and a Nikor large format 135 mm lens (this is considered a "normal" focal length for 4X5 cameras or in this case the 12cm wide format of the 6X12. There are others that go for the wider 6X17 format but there's something about the 612 that appeals to me.

I suppose it’s time to get over the holiday pause- I clearly have a backlog of scanning and more negs are being developed and two rolls still to send out. Actual pics are next. I’m excited by this delivery because my first roll from my new 6X12 pano camera is in there- somewhere!

Though I keep being drawn to monochrome imagery I occasionally stumble across a color image that I embrace. This is a digitally captured image but I have been recently shooting a lot of film which I hope to scan and share soon.
