Hi I'm Gina! Lover of plants, animals, and puns. Brown thumb turned green! Come join me on my never ending plant journey!

I used to kill every plant I touched but now I'm a proud plant mom to over 35 houseplants.

Those pink edges 😍
I have this little lady in my office so I get to look at her all day long 💕
I have her close to a West facing window with a sheer curtain. I water about once a week when pretty dry.

This lovely lady is a Peperomia Hope. There’s something comforting about the name as well as the plant. We need to have hope during this time and know that even though things are difficult right now, they won’t be difficult forever. Have hope that this too shall pass and try to focus on the positives.
🌱
This new baby has acclimated to our home and hasn’t shown any signs of pests so I will be repotting her this weekend! I have her in a Western facing screened window and water about once a week as needed after she is pretty dry.

My favorite succulent hands down. It always puts a smile on my face! 😄
What’s your favorite succulent?

It’s so exciting when you find a wishlist plant when you least expect it! 😍 These little things bring me so much joy, especially right now.
❤️
My husband was at the grocery store and FaceTimed me their plant section and this beauty was there! She’s so healthy and happy and BEAUTIFUL!! Shoutout to for this awesome (and inexpensive) plant bebe.
🌱
In case you haven’t already hopped on the Peperomia train with me, here’s why I love them: PET FRIENDLY, easy to care for & SO many varieties (I have a bunch and they all look different!). Most of them are inexpensive too!

Happiness is a new leaf 😍
There are a lot of sad things going on in the world right now and it’s easy to get wrapped up in it all. However, there are also a lot of positive things happening too - more time with spouses, children, and pets, as well as all of the new growth that Spring brings like this lovely lady right here! I encourage you to focus on the positives in your life (and turn off the news for a bit if you can - I promise it will help) and don’t forget to give those growing plant babies some love ❤️

This little pot was TOO CUTE not to buy. But since there’s no drainage hole (and no room to drill one), air plants it is! 😻🌱

Two of my favorite things. 🐱🌱

That new leaf feeling 😍 there’s nothing better! The way this rubber tree pushes out a new leaf is so satisfying.

All my plants are finally starting to bounce back from the move and acclimate to our new home. It’s been several weeks of observations and adjustments. There have been leaves lost (and possibly one casualty 😭) but that’s to be expected. It took time and patience but now we’re seeing new growth! 😍

I didn’t even know this kind of sansevieria existed until a couple weeks ago. The best kind of surprise! Obviously I saw it and had to have it. How cool is this little guy!
