I am overjoyed to announce that Isabel and I are engaged! ❤️✨ I can’t put into words how happy I am that we will be able to spend the rest of our lives together as nerdy soulmates.

We’re getting hitched at city hall on July 7th. Only a few weeks before I get to call her my wife!

I haven’t made a gingerbread house since Kindergarten, and unfortunately my decorating skills have not improved since then.

Wow, what a day! I was lucky enough to meet one of my film heroes: the one and only Guillermo del Toro . Pappy McPoyle himself! His work was a huge inspiration for me and the team when making The Brain That Wouldn’t Die .brain.remake

Guillermo was incredibly kind and insightful, and generous with his time. When he heard I was a filmmaker too, he turned to me and said, “Just remember, making movies is like eating a sandwich of s**t. Sometimes you get more bread, sometimes less bread, but you always get s**t.” And I agree 😅
