It was such an honor to play at last night with our new, immensely talented friends and ❤️ We dearly missed not having our bass player there with us due to illness, but you can be sure that he will be back rocking with us at the next show. To everyone who came out to see us play, we are forever thankful to you. This band is and always will be about creating community and bringing people together, and we were so happy to be able to do that with you all last night.

Law student by day, singer by night - meet Keegan Kaas , lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist of The Waysides, contributing his voice and perspective to the band’s collaborative songwriting process.

Inspired by iconic voices like Interpol, Jeff Buckley, and The Smiths, Keegan’s songwriting is a reflection of his own journey in navigating love, loss, coming of age, and self-discovery.

When he’s not studying law or writing songs, you can find Keegan cozied up with a good book, playing soccer, spending time with his girlfriend and many pets, spending time in nature, or cooking.
