Little did I know that cooking and eating Black Eyed Peas is a New Years Tradition in the Southern United States!!!

Cheers to my first cooked meal of 2021 ! May it bring us all a lot of goodluck this 2020-WoN !!!

For a change, I did not modify the recipe at all. Key ingredients are separate onion paste and tomato paste for the base gravy...you will notice how I didn't soak the beans long enough and tried to make a short cut for with 12 minute high pressur cook... I ended up having to high pressure cook 30 minutes for it to be super soft and edible !!!
Highly recommend this
