My most recent project: replace two windows, paint all old cabinet and drawer faces and remodel two closets. My clients also had the kitchen floor redone and the new floor was too high for their fridge so I also modified the cabinet to fit a taller fridge. I’m not a huge fan of painting, but I do a pretty good job with it, it helps to have space to set up a spray booth.

Finally got to finish up my buddies stairs. They wanted a clear fir post lost, it wasn’t easy, and I definitely would install this before treads in the future, but it looks great! 👌

Last year I installed this old tilt garage door on a clients barn. He had two of them so he asked me to come back this year and build a double barn door on to the front using the second tilt garage door. I cut them in two and was able to source some lumber from (thanks guys) to build the rest of the doors.

had the pleasure of transforming my friends garage into a very usable office space! Swapped out the garage door for French doors (a garage door company removed the old one… those things are scary!) added a couple of windows, replaced the side door and swapped out the big fluorescent lights for 5” recessed dimmable LED’s!

I spent a little time earlier this year helping my old boss out with some carpentry. Their client wanted their stairs to be an assortment of cabinets. I had enough time to build and install them but I haven’t seen out they finished them yet.

A little before and after on the front deck for my clients from this spring, they liked their back porch so much they called me back for a quick redo of the front.

And another cedar fence to revitalize the back yard of a family member.

A lovely cedar fence across my friends driveway added a lot of room for activities! I’ll be heading back to Portland to remodel their garage into an office soon!

Just a last month I got to help a fellow ski patroller begin building a mother in law apartment above his garage in Govy. A lot of engineering and working in tight spaces to open up the trusses and build some stairs, more to come, he’s got windows and doors going in next!

Had some time to help out a friend with this build in Parkdale. They needed help building trim that matched the radius of the building, took a little ingenuity but it turns out you can find and match a 130” radius.

A little shower project I did in June. It’s a shower system I hadn’t installed before. Just three panels glued to a waterproof substrate.

A little before and after on this multi level deck I just finished up! I’m super happy with the finished product. Framing everything was a major challenge. We increased the footprint of each deck, raised them up from their original location just a touch to increase the view and picture framed each deck and stair. Finished it off with hog panel railings so it wouldn’t block the view.
