“We created such a big, vast network of people — of supporters, fans, friends, artists, musicians — and gave people a place that they could call home,” said owner Travis Sigler, who first launched Wyrd in 2017. “We just kind of outgrew the space.”

As the tavern approaches the end of its lease in Southeast Portland, Wyrd is thinking bigger.

“Our slogan right now is, ‘From tavern to stronghold, Castle Wyrd rises,’” Sigler said.

For weeks, he’s been working on building out a new space not too far away from Wyrd’s original storefront in Milwaukie. Sigler hasn’t advertised an address yet, but eagle-eyed residents might recognize one of the building’s more striking features: A big stone turret."

About a month ago I was submitted to be featured in Magazine, and today I got the notification that I made in the preliminary round and passed!

Next up is the actual voting on March 23rd @ 10 A.M and I could use all the help I can get for votes by friends, family, and fans of Wyrd!

If we win the 25k, I will be donating the first 5k to charities in need. Then the remainder will be put towards our Castle build-out to further give back to our community.

Together, our company and Sensei Ford are releasing this beverage to raise money for charity for cancer treatment at St. Judes Children's Hospital as well as Spinal Cord injury research through the Christopher Reeves and Dana Reeves Foundation.

Proceeds from every bottle of this flavor will go to helping children and people who need it.
