Pickathon Presents Wilclone, Mars FM, and Rose Parade at The Showdown Saloon on November 20.

Wilclone brings the music of Wilco to life, celebrating the alt-country, folk-rock, and experimental side of one of America’s most influential bands. The Portland tribute has been performing together for years and continues to pack local rooms with full-band takes on Wilco favorites.

Mars FM takes on Neil Young, drawing from the songwriter’s massive catalog of classics and deep cuts. The Portland duo of Zack Bauer and Zoe Larsen brings pedal steel, banjo, harmonica, warm tube amps, and their own psychedelic-folk sensibility to these beloved songs.

Rounding out the night is Rose Parade, Portland’s jazz-influenced Elliott Smith tribute. Formed in 2021, the four-piece reimagines Smith’s intimate catalog with lush harmonies, nuanced improvisation, and dynamic arrangements. The band was also featured in 2026’s “Rose Colored Moon” tribute event celebrating Smith’s music and legacy.

Pickathon Presents Gram Jam VI: A Tribute to Gram Parsons to benefit the Jeremy Wilson Foundation on November 7 at The Showdown Saloon.

With Gram Parsons’ birthday on November 5 and his upcoming induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, this year’s Gram Jam feels especially worth celebrating.

For the sixth time, Shorty & The Mustangs bring together an all-star lineup of Portland musicians to honor Parsons’ “Cosmic American Music” and the country, rock, blues, and soul that shaped it. Expect an unforgettable night of songs from across Parsons’ catalog and plenty of familiar local faces sitting in with the band.

Even better, this is all for a great cause. A portion of proceeds benefits the Jeremy Wilson Foundation, which supports musicians and music industry professionals facing health challenges.

Tonight! Pickathon Presents Square Dancing at The Showdown Saloon on Monday, September 21 w/ Boondoggle String Band & Caller Bex Bee 👢

Join us for an evening of old-time square dancing, live string band music, and community every Monday at The Showdown Saloon.

Caller Bex Bee will guide dancers through every step of the evening, making this event accessible and fun for everyone, from experienced dancers to those stepping onto the dance floor for the very first time. As a special treat,, Bex will also offer a special calling lesson from 5:30–6:30 PM before square dancing begins, giving anyone curious about calling a chance to learn the ropes and try something new. With live music providing the soundtrack, expect an energetic night filled with traditional tunes, laughter, and plenty of dancing.

No partner is necessary, and no previous dance experience is required. Every dance is taught and called throughout the evening, creating a welcoming atmosphere where everyone can participate.
Square dancing has long been a community tradition, bringing people together through music, movement, and shared experience. Whether you’re looking to try something new, meet new people, or simply enjoy a night of live music and dancing, this is an event for all ages of dancers and skill levels.

Portland’s Silk and Steel celebrates 75 years of classic country-western music with fresh arrangements of songs from legendary women and men of the genre. Featuring veteran pedal steel guitarist Robin Suskind, the band brings classic country, outlaw country, and western swing to life with a sound rooted in artists like Pure Prairie League, Emmylou Harris, and Linda Ronstadt.

Each month features a rotating lineup of country, western swing, Americana, and honky-tonk artists, creating a midweek tradition built around great music, community, and a packed dance floor. Whether you’re a regular or joining us for the first time, Whiskey Wednesday is the perfect excuse to grab a drink, catch some live music, and spend the evening at the saloon.

Looking to sharpen your dance skills? Arrive early for our Intermediate Dance Lesson at 7 PM with Peggy & Daniel! Designed for dancers who already know the fundamentals, these lessons focus on building confidence, improving technique, and expanding your repertoire on the dance floor. Intermediate Dance Lessons can be added to your Whiskey Wednesday ticket for just $5.

Pickathon Presents Cristina Vane with Madeline Hawthorne at The Showdown Saloon on September 24.

Cristina Vane brings a deeply personal mix of blues, country, bluegrass, old-time, and rock shaped by her Italian, English, French, American, and Guatemalan roots. A standout slide guitarist, clawhammer banjo player, and songwriter, Vane has been on a busy 2026 run that includes the Sisters Folk Festival before returning to the road this fall. Her latest album, “Hear My Call,” continues to showcase her expansive approach to Americana and roots music.

Opening the night is Montana singer-songwriter Madeline Hawthorne, a performer and bandleader from Bozeman whose music draws from country, folk, blues, and rock. Her live album “Thunder in the Foothills” arrived in 2025, and her current releases include “River” and “Ghost in a Shell.” She’s also part of the 2026 lineups for Under the Big Sky and Sisters Folk Festival.

🚨 JUST ANNOUNCED 🚨
Pickathon Presents Tyler Hilton at The Showdown Saloon on November 8.

Singer-songwriter and actor Tyler Hilton returns to Portland with his latest chapter, “The Calling Hours,” released June 26, 2026 on his own Hooptie Tune Records. The 11-song album marks his first full-length of original material since “City on Fire” and has Hilton back on the road with a fresh collection of intimate, rootsy songwriting.

Longtime fans will know Hilton from his music career as well as his role as Chris Keller on “One Tree Hill” and his portrayal of Elvis Presley in “Walk the Line.” His 2026 music has continued to expand with new singles including “Texas” and “Driving to Your House,” alongside the “Sterling Point” score released in August. Hilton’s current tour brings him to The Showdown for an intimate evening of singer-songwriter Americana and fan favorites, with VIP meet-and-greet and soundcheck experiences also being offered on the tour.
