Shiny things.

Picked up a Cannondale CAAD10 today that needs a little bit of rehab. I was hoping it would just need a quick tune, but as I peeled back the layers it got uglier. It will be a complete overhaul. At least the frame and groupset are in good condition.

Softride resto-mod complete. Rebuilt with Shimano 105 R7000 11 speed. New carbon fiber wheels, stem, and drop bars. Finished off with Jagwire Pro cables, black and yellow housings, and a black YBN chain.

And now for something completely different. 2000-ish Softride Powercurve Solo. Needs a little work to get back on the road again.

This is relevant to my interests.

After a decade of sitting unused, I got the shifters functioning properly. Now to clean it up and make it go better.

The next patient has arrived. 2000 LeMond Tourmalet. It’s been sitting unused for a decade at least. I’m either going to clean it up and get everything tuned properly or I’m going to rebuild it with a modern 11-speed drivetrain.
