G-d rest the Lord of the Banjo.

We remember the great Barney McKenna who died 14 year ago. He was the nicest guy you could wish to meet. While his contribution to Irish music is unquestionable, it was his unique character and attitude to life, for those who met him, will remember today. (Barney pictured centre with his follow Dubliners L-R, Sean Cannon, Eamonn Campbell, John Sheahan, Paddy Reilly)

Got to spend a few days with my pops in LA, bit of this and that and also went over the new album. On track to release it by the months end!
7am flight yesterday, then surprised my lovely wife with tickets last night to celebrate our 12 year anniversary. What a stellar performance in Portland. Amazing cast and the set design and movement was next level. Quite a production.
