When we say we absolutely Love we really truly mean it. We have worked together and respected each others skills in some form or another for over a decade. From our early days running a cafe in SF (Matching Half 4 lyfe:) Black Jet always had a place in our shop and our heart. They have proven to be one of our favorite and most consequential relationships ever since.

When we launched Gillian & Max & Co. were the very first people to give us a shot serving our coffee, and we pinch ourselves every day that dearfrancis is served alongside some of the best baking in all of California:)

When the opportunity arose to create our very first custom coffee blend for them we dove in with both feet. After much tinkering and multiple visits back and forth to the bakery and here to the roastery, the Black Jet Blend was born and has been a mainstay of their coffee service ever since.

While their stunning baking and pastries should garner the bulk of your attention, their coffee program is no slouch. So next time you’re in the shop, don’t sleep on their coffee game. They’re easily serving the best brew in Bernal, maybe the the bay? Beyond?

Dear Francis turns✌️today and that’s pretty cool. It’s still just ✌️of us, dreaming life into this coffee fever dream, roasting every single bean, placing every single sticker, smiling every single day. It’s been dreamed of and schemed after for a lot longer but the wrapping paper came off this day a couple revolutions back. So much goodness going around in this lovely little/big town that we are grateful to be a part of, we’ll get sappy and reflective soon, but for today just thanks to all of you for the ride! ✌️✨💕 ☕️

We are celebrating the launch of the new LORO Blend and are kicking it off in style! and are taking their show on the road for the first time with a take over of on SE Stark for the whole morning. We’ll have a full lineup of to pair with new sandwiche The Collab - egg & potato, with New School American cheese on Ranch’s Focaccia (chorizo add on a must for the early risers;) And plenty of the new LORO Blend to slake your thirst.
