LEARN TO FLY FISH / TIE FLIES AT FROG LAKE - Saturday May 16th 9-3 PM with writer and educator, Nick Parish of

Catch a rainbow trout on top of Mount Hood in a freshly stocked alpine lake. We will tie flies with horse hair, feathers & other natural fibers to mimic what the fish are eating.

Spend the day studying the water— the insects, movements, and life happening just below the surface. Nick will guide us into the fundamentals of mindful fly fishing, how anglers create flies to match natural food sources, casting basics and the techniques to use flies in stillwater/river fishing scenarios.

We’ll put our skills to work in a unique natural setting, searching for stocked rainbow trout. All gear is provided. You don’t need any fly fishing or tying experience.

Carpool with landdd or meet us there. Exact coordinates TBA for ticket holders. Tickets online at landdd.org
