All healed up for Lillian! This started as a big cover-up on the upper arm, and I love how we were able to work some blackout into sleeve.

Cover-ups can change how someone feels about their body in such a powerful way — it’s one of the most rewarding challenges for me to take on.

Here's a fun project I did with my friend

This was a unique opportunity to work with a good friend and someone who is an amazing artist and designer in his own right. I really enjoyed the collaborative process we were able to have in creating the design, going through many tweaks and revisions based on his input, to eventually end up with something we both loved. Working together I think we were really able to push the design to be more unique and interesting than it might have been otherwise. And I'm also grateful for the journey and the relationship we were able to build through the process.

Going through the process of this one really helped evolve my willingness to have more collaboration with clients. I think as a tattooist it can be easy to be married to your own visions for a piece, not wanting to take the time or sacrifice my artistic ego to take feedback and make changes. But my experience with this one showed me that sometimes that can actually push the design to be even better than I imagined.

Variations on the Sri Yantra..

I’ve been playing around with a lot of color schemes and effects with the intention of making prints of one or a couple of these. Let me know which one you like best in the comments!

The Sri Yantra is a sacred geometric image of the creative life force energy of the universe. Created from 4 upward pointing triangles and 5 downward, representing consciousness and energy joining together to manifest the world of matter. Gazing into the Sri Yantra can be a powerful aid to turn the mind inward for meditation, helping us to connect to this creative source energy.

Flower vase design up for grabs!

I've really been wanting to do some more vases since I did the one in the second slide a little while ago. Such a fun image to tattoo and gives a lot of room for incorporating personal symbols with the flowers and designs on the vase.

I'd also love to make more custom designs like this with flowers and other elements of your choosing! Let me know your ideas and we'll make it happen 🪷🏺
