We’re excited to announce a special gathering to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (LSAMP) program at Portland State University. Join us as we bring together LSAMP alumni, allies, and current students to honor our program’s history and create and rekindle connections within our community.

Hello LSAMP Students!

We are excited to announce that we are adding an internship with the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife (ODFW) to the 2024-2025 LSAMP Internship Program.

Students applying to this internship are committing to working 10-12 hours a week with the ODFW and participating in 3 workshops each term. Students receive a $1,000 stipend each month for the duration of the program.

LSAMP is now accepting applications for the 2024–2025 ISS-LSAMP Internship program. This program is focused on connecting LSAMP students with an interest in climate and community to internship opportunities around the Portland Metro Area. Students work with our partners for three terms during the academic year (fall, winter, and spring).

Students are expected to work 10-12 hours a week and participate in 3 workshops each term. Students receive a $1,000 stipend each month for the duration of the program.
