Don Champion, DJ and Producer originally from Miami, has been based in Portland for over a dozen years. He has been DJing around the country since the late 90s both solo and as a tour DJ for many performers, and has silently produced records for many well-known artists. With a career spanning a very wide variety of genres, this 20+ year record collector has a deep and diverse record collection that goes in all directions.

Today we are excited to kick off a whole new event series called Wax Wednesdays where we will invite vinyl only selectors to play some tracks for us.

First up we have .

Portland based Justin Screendoor began DJing in 1996, cutting his teeth on the Midwest rave circuit in Chicago, Minneapolis, Madison - a veteran vinyl practitioner with a DIY sound system sensibility, and the versatility to broadcast for a range of atmospheres, venues, crowds, and moments.

“The focus for my sets is to push the limits of what the dancefloor can take – getting weird and psychedelic– perfecting an adventurous yet streamlined DJing style. I specialize in underground house and techno (Detroit, Chicago, Berlin) with dalliances into minimal, disco, breaks, and ambient. I am a new music obsessive - avidly tracking new music releases on the daily and finding continued inspiration. My dj influences span the sonic spectrum but Ron Hardy, Richard D. James and late-90s Richie Hawtin are the key inspirations.”
