Three distinct wings, private bedrooms, shared living spaces., and the primary suite are arranged around a central outdoor patio and fireplace. Creating a home oriented toward the landscape in every direction.

Built on the footprint of a dilapidated carriage house, this Portland bathhouse gives new purpose to an overlooked space.

This bathhouse in Portland's Alameda neighborhood is built on the footprint of an existing dilapidated carriage house. What was once an unusable eyesore has been replaced by a visually striking community asset.

Nordic simplicity meets Japanese naturalism on Southshore road of Lake Oswego, Oregon.

This reconstruction of an existing 1960s home is located on the southern edge of Lake Oswego, just south of Portland. The existing home was deconstructed to the ground level and a new second level is being added - it will feature lake views filtered through towering douglas firs. The monochromatic exterior palette is inspired by Nordic simplicity and Japanese naturalism, featuring a black metal roof and vertical cedar siding. Designed with intentional connection to the natural surroundings, all three levels of the home have access to outdoor living space.

Textures and views of the Swift cabin

This linear cabin stretches out along the length of a site that overlooks a reservoir in southwest Washington. Views of Mt. St. Helens beyond and the lake below get better as one approaches the cliff. A shed roof allows for a vast array of solar panels for this off-grid cabin, which power the main cabin, a custom-designed sauna building, and a garage for the family boat.
