Receiving the Run With Power 5K scholarship is an honor and a privilege. The scholarship reminds me of a community that has always been uplifting and supportive. It serves as a reminder of the dream my parents had when they came to the United States. It also serves as a reason to keep going. This scholarship shows a belief in me, and I feel the need to ensure that the investment was worth it. Thanks to this scholarship, I will be able to finish out my degree and continue focusing on professional development that will help me achieve my goals.

Our efforts have been paying off here in Oregon.

We’ve been intentional about putting community and relationships first, and it showed at our subregional conference, Sueños en Motion. It was a huge success.

Our SHPE familia continues to grow. Real connections were built, and meaningful relationships were strengthened. This is what it looks like when a community comes together with purpose.

The stories shared about overcoming challenges and persevering left all of us inspired and ready to take that energy back into our work, our classrooms, and our communities.

Dreams are in motion here in the PNW, and we are building something that will last.
