Photos from my co workers Dave and Michael’s jobsite in NW Pdx. We supplied and installed 20 Hung Reproduction sash with Insulated glass as well as one full frame unit to add a mulled unit where it was a single.

These are reproduction sash with low-E insulated glass.

We can create high-performance sash for your historic home or project as well.

We are currently booking into 2024, and if you want this for your project we look forward to working with you next year.

Reproduction Inswing Casements made to match the original with Cremone bolts. Billy made amazing window units, Eric knocked the paint out of the park and Carl and Dave crushed the install.

All timber with a 6 sided pre-finished paint job.

The glazing Rabbet is drained and vented which we believe is the key to getting 20-50 years of service life out of Insulated Glazing.

The wood will last 50 years, and we are preparing the glass unit for the best possible outcome by allowing moisture to evacuate the sash.

The Sashwright wants their work to last. We accept the challenge to make things that can last.

The beginning of a wood shop!

HELLO GOODBYE! We had a great run in a less than 500 square foot shop for a minute and now we’ve entered PHASE II of the Sashwright Co.!

We’re now in a beautiful old brick building in North Portland with our eyes on proper wood shop, finishing capacity, a training space, a tiny R&D lab and a showroom!

Many thanks to all of my teammates and our customers for the continued hard work and opportunity to deepen our impact in this work we do!!!

Often I wonder: Am I the lowest wage stripper in all of Portland?

How can we make the sh*tty 2nd growth wood better?

It starts with something called nano particles and keeping the extractives in the wood.

This test is between a modified timber, traditional lumber yard western red cedar, and a tropical hardwood.
