There were about 10 more frogs in this well that hopped away while I got my camera out to take the picture.

® See the holes in this lead chimney flashing? Squirrels love to eat lead flashings! To a squirrel nothing pairs better with a few acorns than a bit of lead. Just another reason to keep tree limbs away from your roof!

I was deeply saddened yesterday to find out that Tia was involved in a serious accident and lost her life as a result. I had the pleasure of meeting Tia at some GPBR events and then got to work with her and some of her buyer clients. She was a phenomenal woman and will be missed by all. I wanted to share this fund raiser for those who haven't seen it yet if you would like to help her survivors with some of the expenses that will be incurred.

One of the more common issues I find when inspecting a home are foundation issues. These issues have to do with foundation movement and settlement which most of the time is related to a water drainage issue. Foundations like to be in good solid ground, dry ground. Would a foundation be more likely to move if its resting on solid dry ground or saturated mud? Proper grading to shed water away from foundations as well as maintained gutters that drain water at least 5-6 feet away from the foundation are sometimes all it takes to prevent movement and to stabalize the foundation.
