Aloe Vera. I think the first aloe vera plant I ever saw was my grandmother's when I was little and it was huge. We didn't have many non-plastic houseplants, and there weren't many places to get them in our small town. But I got to see plants through having lots of outdoor spaces to explore with each of my grandparents.

Tradescantia Wandering Spiderwort. This plant is often called Wandering Jew but this is a problematic name because it has roots in antisemitism. Wandering Spiderwort, Variegated Spiderwort, and Wandering Dude are proposed alternative names by Hoyt Arboretum. I have this in red and purple, but they look almost identical at the moment. Tradescantias are becoming one of my favorite houseplants!

Crassula ovata Jade. Native to South Africa and Mozambique. I find it crazy that there is so much plant diversity on this planet. It can be a big bush but it only grows about 2 inches per year.
