Great Skate is a fun place to hang out with friends or have your next birthday or group function. We specialize in private birthday parties Sat & Sun.
We specialize in group private parties Saturday - Thursday. Open Skate is Friday 7:30-9:30 pm Great Skate Roller Rink located in Portage Michigan features a large Michigan Maple floor. We have a large snack bar perfect for large groups and parties. We also have game machines for when people are not skating. We also also skating classes through Portage Community Ed.
We will be open Friday, January 30, for Open Skate from 7:30 to 9:30.pm.
Due to the extreme cold temperatures, we will not be open this evening, Friday, January 23,2026. Please stay safe and warm.

We specialize in private parties.
We offer private birthday party times on Saturday and Sunday afternoons.
Private party times available for groups. ( Scouts, Church, Youth, Schools, etc)

We will be open July 11th for our public skating session 7:30 to 9:30 pm.
