😂👇 When you’re visiting somewhere new… do you hike or just nap and take pictures?

We went for the hike and tackled the Oxbow Perimeter Loop (3.2 miles of definitely not a “quick stroll”).

🌳 Views: absolutely breathtaking—like, “okay Florida 👀✨”
💦 Sweat: aggressive… basically human sprinklers 🥵
😅 Loops: endless—seriously, when does it end??
✅ Lost? Miraculously, nope (big personal growth moment)

Would we do it again? Yes.
Would we be extra sweaty and dramatic again? Also yes 😂

Imagine thinking you’re just going to relax on a Florida beach… 😅

Went to Round Beach in Vero and WOW… those clouds were showing off ☁️🔥

Umbrella up, chairs in the shade—because we do NOT do full sun 😂

🌊 Man o’ war (not so cute 😳)

Then we hit the RV park trail and it escalated FAST:

🐊 Lots of alligators… AND BABIES 👶

…aka time to mind our business and keep it moving 😅

Florida said “enjoy your stay”… but like, respectfully from a distance

🌊 Paddle 4 miles for paradise—worth it? Yes or no?

🤔 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿 go out for a “𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗰𝗸, 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘅𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗮𝗱𝗱𝗹𝗲”… and it turns into a full-on 4.2-mile 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲? 🛶😅

🛶 We 𝗹𝗮𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱 from 𝗖𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝗮𝗱 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗸 thinking it’d be an easy, 𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗳𝘂𝗹 day on the water… and somehow ended up deep in a 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲-𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗹 like we totally planned it 😆🌿

🌿 The whole 𝟰.𝟮-𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗹 was so 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗺 and 𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗲𝘁 it almost didn’t feel real… like we had the entire place to ourselves 🫣

🏖️ Then we made it to 𝗦𝘁. 𝗟𝘂𝗰𝗶𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝗹𝗲𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗸 and 𝗪𝗢𝗪 — the beach was so 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗱 it felt like our own 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗶𝘀𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 😂

🪶 Along the way, we spotted a majestic pelican just chilling nearby—nature cameo! 🐦

🐚 And of course, we couldn’t resist collecting all the amazing shells we found scattered along the shore.

👀 We just walked the beach, explored, and definitely talked about just staying there forever… until we remembered 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲 exists 💀

😬 𝟭𝟬/𝟭𝟬 would do it again
💪 𝟮/𝟭𝟬 arm strength left

🏖️🪑 Next time we’re bringing 𝘀𝗻𝗮𝗰𝗸𝘀, 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗿𝘀, and a slightly better 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻 😆

🛶 𝗪𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗸𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗸 𝘁𝗼 𝗮 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗶𝘀𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱… 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗶𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗮𝗿𝗺𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱? 😅💀

We 𝗹𝗮𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱 from 𝗖𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝗮𝗱 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗸 thinking it’d be a 𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗱𝗱𝗹𝗲… and somehow ended up feeling like we discovered our own secret paradise 😆🏝️

🏖️ We 𝗸𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗱 all the way to 𝗦𝘁. 𝗟𝘂𝗰𝗶𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝗹𝗲𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗸 and WOW — the 𝗯𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 was so 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗱 and 𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗲𝘁 it felt 𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 😂

🫣 𝗡𝗼 𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗱𝘀. 𝗡𝗼 𝗻𝗼𝗶𝘀𝗲. Just 𝘂𝘀, the 𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿, and a whole lot of “should we just stay here forever and forget reality exists?” vibes… while also realizing we still had to paddle back through a million regrets 💀

😬 10/10 would paddle again… 0/10 ready for the return trip

🏖️👀 We might need our own VIP beach chairs — this spot is just too perfect 🛶💀

😂 10/10 adventure. 0/10 arm strength left. 🛶💪

🤦‍♀️ Raise your hand if you’ve ever forgotten to check the tide before paddling…

🌊🛶 We met up with some RV friends at Fort Pierce Inlet State Park for what was supposed to be a relaxing paddle…

Turns out it was very low tide, so our trip quickly turned into a mix of paddling… and dragging our kayaks and paddleboards like it was part of the plan. 😆

🐢 We still spotted sea turtles, watched the birds, and had an amazing time — so no complaints.

🍹 Finished the day at Skipper’s Cove Tiki Bar with drinks and appetizers (because we definitely earned that).

😂 Lesson learned: next time… check the tide chart first

🚛 He’s the one who pulls our fifth wheel all over the place while I sit over here planning the adventures.

🛻 He actually gets us there.

😅 Then comes the fun part — backing into the campsite. Buck does it like a pro while I stand outside doing my very official RV hand signals… which mostly mean “keep coming… keep coming… WAIT WAIT WAIT!” 😂

And somehow after all that… he still trusts my directions and agrees to the next adventure.

🌊😆 Have you ever shown up somewhere expecting a big show… and nature was like, “eh, not today?”

📍 We visited Blowing Rocks Preserve during high tide and the tide chart said 3 ft, so we were expecting those giant waves blasting up through the rocks like we saw a couple years ago.

🌊 The ocean had other plans this time. We didn’t get the huge splashy blowholes, but it still didn’t disappoint.

✨ The waves crashing on the rocks, the sound of the water, and the views were still absolutely beautiful.

💙 Turns out even when Blowing Rocks decides to be a little less “blowy,” it’s still one of the most beautiful beaches to visit.

❓ Have you ever been to Blowing Rocks during high tide?

🌊 Have you ever gone back somewhere and it felt like a completely different place?

☀️ The first time we went to Chastain Beach, it was low tide and we thought, “Oh this is nice.” Calm. Peaceful. Very well-behaved ocean. 😌

🌊 This time we showed up at HIGH TIDE… and the ocean chose chaos.

💥 The waves were crashing against the rocks like they had something to prove. Splashing everywhere. Loud. Dramatic. Absolutely amazing.

😳 One minute we’re standing there saying, “Wow, this is beautiful”… the next minute we’re bracing ourselves so we don’t get soaked.

🌬 It totally gave us Blowing Rocks energy — that powerful, dramatic water-meets-rock moment that makes you just stand there and stare.

🤯 Same beach. Completely different personality. Low tide is the calm, quiet friend. High tide is the extra friend who shows up ready to make a scene.

🌊 Safe to say… we loved the chaos.

🌴 𝐉𝐄𝐓𝐓𝐘 + 𝐓𝐈𝐊𝐈 𝐁𝐀𝐑 𝐀𝐅𝐓𝐄𝐑… 𝐎𝐁𝐕𝐈𝐎𝐔𝐒𝐋𝐘 😜🍹🌊

We showed up at the 𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐓 𝐏𝐈𝐄𝐑𝐂𝐄 𝐉𝐄𝐓𝐓𝐘 saying we were “just going to walk around for a little bit.” ⏳

😂🙌 Three hours later… we finally left.

And honestly? We could’ve stayed longer.

The jetty is one of those places where time disappears. 𝐁𝐎𝐀𝐓𝐒 🚤 coming in and out, 𝐅𝐈𝐒𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐌𝐄𝐍 🎣 casting lines, families walking the rocks, and that constant 𝐎𝐂𝐄𝐀𝐍 𝐁𝐑𝐄𝐄𝐙𝐄 🌬️ that just feels good. We could sit there all day watching everything happen.

It’s also such a great spot for 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 📸 — you get the water 🌊, the boats 🚤, and that classic 𝐅𝐋𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐃𝐀 𝐂𝐎𝐀𝐒𝐓𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐄 🏝️ backdrop all in one place.

🍹🔥 After soaking it all in, someone casually said… “Tiki bar?”

And obviously — that was the plan.

We made the short drive over to 𝐒𝐊𝐈𝐏𝐏𝐄𝐑’𝐒 𝐂𝐎𝐕𝐄 𝐁𝐀𝐑 & 𝐆𝐑𝐈𝐋𝐋, a waterfront spot with a laid-back vibe and true 𝐓𝐈𝐊𝐈 𝐄𝐍𝐄𝐑𝐆𝐘 🌴✨. It’s the perfect place to keep the day going after spending time by the water.

🥒 𝐅𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐃 𝐏𝐈𝐂𝐊𝐋𝐄𝐒 were ordered immediately. No hesitation. No debate. And yes — they were worth it. 10/10 🤤🔥

Honestly, days like this remind us that the best moments aren’t complicated. It’s simple plans ✔️ good 𝐕𝐈𝐄𝐖𝐒 🌅 good 𝐅𝐎𝐎𝐃 🍴 and good 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐏𝐀𝐍𝐘 ❤️

🌊☀️ First time at 𝐏𝐞𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐁𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 — and now we understand the hype!

🏖️ 𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞𝐠𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬 on duty, 𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐦𝐬 & 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐬, plus a 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 — perfect for families — but honestly great for anyone who loves the beach and wants a relaxing spot to enjoy the ocean.

😂 We said we were “just stopping by for a little bit”… and somehow stayed way longer than planned. That’s how you know it’s good. You sit down, watch the waves, and suddenly hours disappear.

🍹 We ended the day at 𝐈𝐬𝐥𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐚 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐲 & 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐲 — RaeLynn’s favorite was the margarita made with their house 𝐓𝐞-𝐊𝐞𝐲-𝐋𝐚 (they make it themselves 👏🍋).
🍺 Buck’s pick? The 𝐅𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐏𝐚𝐥𝐞 𝐀𝐥𝐞 – 𝐀𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐧.
