As we move into September, we’re seeing a lot of posts saying scallop season is coming to an end and that you need to get them now or wait until next year.

Don’t worry—you still have time!

Only a portion of the Big Bend scalloping grounds is closing for Labor Day. The area from the Suwannee River north to the Fenholloway River is closed, but the flats from the Fenholloway River north remain open for two more weeks!

And let me tell you—the scallops are thick, big, and plentiful this year. Limits have been extremely easy, and we’re finding them in 3 feet of water or less.

So if you couldn’t make it down before Labor Day, don’t put the boat away just yet. We’re still here and ready to put you on some of the most plentiful scalloping grounds the Big Bend has to offer.

If you’re still looking to fill the cooler with these delicious little morsels, give us a call and come see what the Big Bend is all about.

With years of experience on these waters, we know where to find them and how to make sure you have a great day on the water.

Don’t wait until next year—there’s still time to go scalloping!

Chip made his annual trip to the marsh with me and as usual he was on the mark with almost every cast.
He was able to sight cast his new PB Redfish ( set last year), a 41 inch 30 + pound giant. He also put Triple Tail, Black Drum, and several other spices in the boat.
It was a great 3 days, and next trip will be in my home waters of Econfina where he has a knack for catching big fish on top water!

Bob,Owen, and Wyatt came out to test there skills in Louisiana, and while I'm still not sure who won, the Fultons definitely got in some good shots on the Giant Reds, Magnum Jack's, and Monster Black Drum. Looking forward to tge next test!

20 minutes in and 8 gallons on the first dive! There might be a few scallops in the Big Bend!

Summertime in Florida's Big Bend is hard to beat. Between the incredible fishing and the best scalloping in the state, there's never been a better time to get on the water.
The fishing has been excellent, especially during the early morning hours. Redfish and big trout are crushing topwater lures, and while the grass can make things challenging, it's well worth the effort. When the grass gets too thick, a 5-inch Saltwater Assassin jerkbait rigged weedless has been producing plenty of trout and redfish. If you're not an early riser, don't worry—moving out to deeper water has been producing trout, sea bass, Spanish mackerel, and several other species.
The biggest story of the summer, though, is the scalloping. The numbers are simply unbelievable. We haven't had a single trip where we've needed more than one stop to limit out. The bottom is absolutely covered with scallops, and most dives are producing four or five scallops every time someone comes up. To top it off, the size has been outstanding.
Without a doubt, Florida's Big Bend is the premier scalloping destination in the state, and we still have two full months of season left.
If you've been thinking about making a trip, now is the time. Come experience what everyone has been talking about and make some unforgettable memories on the water.

Mother Nature wasn't in a good mood today, but she gave us a small window and we made the most of it.

After two days of incredible scalloping, the Batman crew was ready to bend a few rods. The weather app said we might have two hours if we were lucky. Judging by the empty parking lots on the way to the ramp, I figured it was probably right.

The boys were determined, though, and one stop was all it took. We put trout, redfish, and even a few unwanted species in the boat before the weather chased us off. We made our getaway just in time.

It was a short trip, but it was the perfect way to wrap up an unforgettable boys' weekend in Florida's Big Bend.

If you're ready to experience everything the Big Bend has to offer—from world-class scalloping to outstanding inshore fishing—let's get your trip on the calendar.

From 2 feet to 7 foot you cant help but find scallops here in the big bend. Nothing better than seeing young scallopers finding them on their own. Lots of memories and many meals are awaiting in our waters.
If your ready to Scallop come on up, there might be a few here.

If you've been waiting for the right time to go scalloping in Florida's Big Bend, this is it!

The scallop numbers this year are absolutely incredible. All of my trips this year have limited out in less than 1/2 hour, and it is normal to bring up 5 to 10 scallops every dive. Our Healthy grass flats are loaded, and you don't have to be in 8–9 feet of water, 2 to 4 feetis all you need to find them. We've been seeing great numbers in the shallows, making for an easy and fun day on the water.

Clear water, uncrowded coastlines, and some of the best scalloping we've seen in years—this is what the Big Bend is all about.

Come see why everyone is talking about this year's season!
