USA Fleamarket

Unfortunately the new location is goi g to be delayed, I will keep everyone posted as soon as I know the date.

We are starting a new Farmers market by US19 and New York ave, starting the first Sunday of next month.
I am still working on the old USA flea market, unfortunately last year between June and July I lost both my mother and daughter. It’s been a hard year on my wife, family and I.
We are going to work hard to bring back a place that our community can enjoy.

We are here gathering as we did at the end of the day when we were open.
Just to show that we are to just a business but a community.

Just to clarify what’s going on with the market.

We have to get permission from FDOT to use the entrance to the market on US 19.

The market has been their for over 40 years, yet the put the turning lane in 8 years ago and do to the turning lane not align with the entrance. We would have to merge the entrance and exit to comply. Once the FDOT APPROVAL that will be sufficient to go back to the county and resubmit the right of way use. Once that is submitted it will take 30 days for rezoning at a public hearing.

We were going to get a special events permit, unfortunately it would only give us 4 weeks in a six month period. We did not want to start just to close again.
We would rather get it done and over with. We know that our vendors and the community will support us when we reopen.

I work hard every weekend to clean up the market, the worst thing I get is advise from individuals on what I should do. Today I did not get advice on what I should do, but HOW WE CAN WE CAN IT DONE. I never ask for help, but when people stop giving advice and step in this is what we get done.
Thanks to Lenny, Brian and Nati we accomplished allot today.
