The Golden Acorn Award is a prestigious recognition presented by local PTAs and PTSAs in Washington State to honor volunteers who have dedicated themselves to going "above and beyond" for children and youth. Recipients receive a pin, a certificate, and a scholarship donation made in their name.

The Local PTA and Council Awards of Excellence is a recognition program whose purpose is to build pride, participation in, and awareness of WSPTA as well as to celebrate the work PTAs do to make a difference in their communities. These awards highlight outstanding efforts and motivate local PTAs and councils to provide quality service for and involvement of their members.

Christie and MacKenzie took on the gigantic task of tracking all the things our PTA does right! Thank you to all of our PTA members and volunteers who contribute everyday!

At the Washington State PTA convention this weekend we were recognized with the Communication Strategy Award- Gold! In order to get this award we had to demonstrate we communicated 15 different ways. Thank you to our Communication Chair Carrie for putting the time in to Communicate and apply for this award.

Congratulations to Christie and Mollie who were awarded Leadership Service Awards at convention this year. Leadership Service Awards recognize their dedication to learning, leading and serving PTA and our community. Mollie was awarded Bronze and Christie was awarded Silver and Gold! Congratulations ladies and thank you for your dedication.
