What A Catch Charters

I have not posted in a week or so, I have been busy run trips, training a new mate, and boat maintenance. We ran a two boat trip with Captain Mark Perkins of Blue Sky Charters running the second boat. They were 4 man groups on each boat and a mate. Fishing was very good east of Cedar Point so we made the run. Here are the pics of the catch yesterday and today.

We had to work for them today. Started inside and the water was dirty headed to the cove and it was slow only 1 keeper so we left there and went to the west side of the fairy dock great marks but only 1 keeper. Headed north looking for clean water. Didn't find it until West reef and went around taco Bell and started drifting about half way between north bass and middle inland. We caught another 14 over 3 drifts. We came back down inside to the contour lines inside in 17' and caught the other 8 with a 25" and a 23" fish. I didn't get a pic but all in all a great day.

No wind made it a little tough to catch today. Dave and his buddies got there 4 man limit and 1 of the mates. Some real nice fish

After a three day northeast blow and rain the fish took a couple days to get back to normal. We were scout fishing yesterday and captured a 30 fish boat limit.

Another great day on the big pond we call Lake Erie with the Fielding group. 2nd day same results boat limit of 42 fish by 9:45. Wow is fishing good. I have some open date give me a call and we'll get you into the action.

I've been slacking on my post the last couple of weeks but that doesn't change how good the fishing has been. I'll say it's the best I've seen in my lifetime in the spring. Here is just a couple of pics that I remembered to get

Today was another sn**ch and grab. A 36 fish boat limit by 9:30. Some of the best jig fishing I've ever seen.

The ol boys from the windy city smoked them again today, a boat limit of 42 by 9:45. Good job guys it was a blast.

The jig season is as good or better than it has ever been. 48 fish boat limit by 10:30 this morning. Yesterday 30 fish boat limit by 10:45. Come get in on the fun!
