Port Clinton Bands

For all HS band families. The Walleye Fest Parade has been canceled. Our final performance of the year will now be Monday, May 25 for Memorial Day.

Due to inclement weather and out of concern for the safety of our participants, volunteers, and guests, we have unfortunately made the difficult decision to cancel the Walleye Festival Parade.

We sincerely appreciate your interest, support, and willingness to be part of this year’s celebration. The parade is always a highlight of the festival because of the incredible community participation, and we are truly grateful for your involvement.

Thank you again for your understanding and continued support of the Walleye Festival and our Port Clinton community. We hope to see you at future events and celebrations throughout the weekend.

On Thursday, May 7 the Port Clinton 7th and 8th Grade Band performed at Sandusky High School for Band-O-Rama!

This event features Middle School Band students from Port Clinton, Sandusky, and Margaretta. These bands were able to perform for each other as well as rehearse and perform a combined piece with students from all 3 schools.

A special thank you to the two guest clinicians for this event:
Catherine Lewis, for the combined 7th Grade Band, and John Kustec, for the combined 8th Grade Band.

Congratulations to the PCHS Concert Band on a strong musical performance at the 2026 OMEA Northwest Region State Large Group Adjudicated Event! The band took on a challenging program by performing two new pieces in addition to their march, earning an overall rating of “Excellent” with a Superior rating in sight-reading! Thank you to everyone who made the trip to Findlay to support these students! PC Proud!

TODAY IS THE DAY!! Stop by the Middle School anytime between 5:30pm-7:30pm to learn more about the PC band, try instruments, and meet the Band Directors!

Tonight the Port Clinton High School Concert Band gave an outstanding performance at the OMEA District 2 Large Group Adjudicated Event. Our band performed with pride, enthusiasm, and heart. They gave a truly musical performance that earned and overall rating of “Superior.” Earning straight 1’s for their floor performance and sight reading. Congratulations to these incredible students and directors for all of their hard work. PC Proud!!

At our meeting last night, the Port Clinton Music Boosters were excited to welcome our first student ambassadors from our middle school choir, band and orchestra programs! These students attended the meeting and shared about their experiences within their ensembles and exciting events the programs have coming up. Thank you Adrienne, Jaxon and Natalie for being our first ambassadors! We will have High School ambassadors joining us next month 🎵🎶
