Helping kids feel better to heal better. Since then Peiffer has become the regional coordinator for Toledo/Northwest Ohio.
ConKerr Cancer started when Cindy Kerr’s son was diagnosed with cancer in 2002 and she began making pillowcases to brighten up his hospital room and to put a smile on his face. He loved it and so she began making pillowcases for other children on the Oncology Unit at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.Since then the pillowcase project, A Case for Smiles, has grown in amazing ways. Do you love to sew, help kids and work with amazing volunteers? If so this could be the volunteer opportunity for you! Case for Smiles is looking for a coordinator for it's Toledo/NW Ohio Chapter to facilitate the delivery of fun pillowcases to ProMedica Russell J. Ryan’s Case For Smiles is a group of women from Northwest Ohio that sew Fun Fabric Pillowcases for kids hospitalized at Toledo Children’s Hospital and their siblings staying at the Toledo Ronald McDonald House. We have (4) Section A Tickets for both nights of Bash On The Bay that we are raffling off. One winner and 3 friends will get to see Jelly Roll on Wednesday August 21st and Hardy on Thursday August 22nd, courtesy of Amplex Internet. The winner will also receive 4 round-trip Miller Ferry tickets for each night to get back and forth to Put-in-Bay, courtesy of Miller Boat Line and WPIB Radio!
Raffle Tickets are $5 each and can be purchased by following the link below. All funds raised will be used to buy fabric to make the kids’ pillowcases! Thank you!
