Made it home! 7304 miles, 29 days, 4.3MwH used, 2678 lbs of C02 saved, 487 gallons of gas saved, saved $1372 vs gas, only spent $0.16/mile in electricity. Drove much faster most of the trip, which definitely contributed to the higher price vs last trip.

Drawer slides installed and beds all set for their mattresses.

Trip details from the Great Eclipse road trip of 2024. 5824 miles, 70 supercharges, purchased 3,495 kwh for $1155.53 total, averaging $0.33/kwh cost, which works out to ~$0.20/mile while towing excluding AC charging while staying at RV parks and with family. Cycled the battery ~37 times. Often drove 65-75mph, definitely could have hyper miled driving 50-55mph which yield ~500wh/m which could have net close to 200 miles for 100% charge. 2022 model S LR.

Kitchen fully plumbed and electrified. Ran a load of dirty dishes. 5500w tankless hot water heater is perfect for the sink, dishwasher, and shower.

Currently on ~5300 mile trip for the solar eclipse. Tesla really needs to add more pull in/through chargers. I've had to unhook around 1/3rd of the time and the rest of the time I'm just blocking spots (thankfully the chargers haven't filled up where I needed to move as to not be a jerk). Could really use an extension cable please.

Wheel wells completed and insulated. Electric brake wires ran. Bench seat tops cut.

Plumbing mostly done. DC coverted 3kw hot water heater 125A relay arced closed even though the load is 56A. I've decided since the 2.5gal heater takes up a large amount of the under sink space, it's getting replaced with a 240v 3.5-5.5kw on demand heater and I'll just pay the 7% efficiency loss to heat in the inverter.

Butcher block countertop installed! Well it's not mounted to the aluminum supports yet, but I will install L brackets underneath that screw in. Also need to run plumbing and electrical and secure the microwave/convection oven/air fryer/broiler 6-in-1 3700w 240v appliance (imported from the UK) so it doesn't move around.
