Fall mushrooms in the PNW are ramping up!

Little Chrysomphalina I found a few months ago. Been lazy about updating the gram with my life and mushroom stuff. Things have been busy and not at the same time. Will share more mushrooms and art soon. Haven't been working on much music still but would like to hop back into that sometime soon too. We will see how the world turns!

“coral…mushrooms” and “jumbo gyms!”
Two art pieces I’ve made recently from photos I’ve taken. The coral mushroom piece is a few different ramarioid species transposed over some tide pool photos I took. Most of the photos taken within a few miles of the tide pools, which are near our home.
The jumbo gyms piece is a photo of Gymnopilus ventricosus transposed over its habitat, the coastal forest hills in which I found the mushrooms in the photo.

Will share more art soon and more photos. However my current focus for the winter is finishing some past projects and starting this new tempeh thing project! Peace to most.

Just some more fall mushrooms (and a slime) as the season wraps up. Haven’t been working on very much music lately but have been interested in making some mushroom art, so I’ve been trying my hand at that. Will share soon.

Will be updating more during the winter but the best way to keep track of my mushroom photos is still Reddit.

I’m going to get around to sharing some more formal mushroom content and some art/music shortly, BUT the late summer / fall season is starting. So here are some of my favorites from the past couple days.

Just released a three track, instrumental project called “science”. Currently available on and will be on streaming soon. Appreciate anyone who gives a listen and will have more music coming shortly. Forgot to share these grumpy Wiggy photos here, from a couple weeks ago.

He’s usually very happy and doesn’t pull often on his walks, it was really windy this day so he was a bit frustrated with that. He’s a good boy. One of the perks of shooting macro photography, is that the lens I use for that doesn’t make too bad of a portrait lens for my babies! Roo was at the vet all day yesterday after hurting his hip/leg. He’s doing okay, more photos of him soon. On a no exercise order from the doctor, so he can’t go on hikes for the time being or play with friends. At least he’s got wiggy to keep him company! Hope everyone is well. Going to start posting mushroom stuff tomorrow and music soon still.

Salmonberries from a couple weeks ago. Blackberries should be going off soon, and despite some being invasive, they are my favorite.

Finally preparing some mushroom posts to share. Got like 5 cool ones loaded up. Might share music soon but still taking a not rushing approach there. Hope everyone is well!

Lil crab spider. Very neat to see. Hoping to see more bugs and things soon as the weather warms up. Definitely already seeing skeeters.

Now this is just gorgeous. I am very grateful to live in a place where I can see this just outside my front door. Only heard we were in viewing range this morning. Sharing more mushrooms and music soon but thought this was too cool.
